My own "piece" of the Net

My name is Javier Fernández-Sanguino Peña and, currenty (april 1999), I'm a last year student in the Telecommunications Technical School of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

As a matter of fact I do not quite have time to make this "piece" bigger. The point really is I maintain enough WWW servers and I do not want to maintain anoher one.

This page is, and will be, under construction. I do not have quite much time to put here the contents I would like to, sorry ;)

My Final Career Proyect, I worked in at the GSI (Intelligent Systems Lab of the ETSIT-UPM). With the title "Design of an agents' service library in the development of a personal information system."
I have been a volunteer, through most of my university years at the ETSIT's Student's Council (Delegación de Alumnos), and also in the UPM's StudentCouncil.
I have written articles in the "Linux Actual" and "Internet Online" magazines (published by Prensa Técnica) and in the online magazine OpenResources.

As you see you could assume that most of the mail sent from jfs@XXX.upm.es is sent by me (to all procmail users there :) The e-mail jfs@computer.org is an alias to the mail I currently use most, and I hope (as long as I'm a member of the IEEE's Computer Society) will be that way as long as I use e-mail. But if you would like to know more about me try looking me up in Altavista or in Excite, results can be amazing... even for me. Currently that's all, if I find some time I will make available more detailed information.
Since I began studying Telecommunications I was in contact with Internet and I liked it so much I have been working in some WWW servers (listed in chronological order):
- The ETSIT's Student Council.
- The role playing club CD-CROM, and, particularly, the Gormaz Alliance pages.
- The WWW of the flamenco group Contratiempo (my mother's friends).
- The WWW server of the UPM's Studen Council.
- The translation of Debian's WWW server into spanish (to access it you must have properly configured your browser by selecting as preferred language spanish, if you don't look here).
- The server of The Guide to the ETSIT.
- The server of theETSIT's museum, within the Guide to the ETSIT.
- The WWW of the SATELEC '99 fair.
I built all of these servers, but they might have "passed" to other's hands, so I cannot be given all the credit for them.
